Relax

Relax
here’s a small pond

The water feels like needles pricking every inch of me
but never strong enough to rip me open

Infuse the waters, make it look like berries
it’s all innocence that pours out

in bed, everything is heavy
so tired,
but to close my eyes would be to surrender and I fear
I’ll never wake up.

Falling asleep

Falling asleep is fading

like drifting to death

Relax

Maybe you should sleep
and start drifting
